Today you will be creating a seating chart of the room layout. You will be responsible for finding all of the students in the class and writing their names in the designated seat. You do not have to write their name directly on the object. You can use callouts, arrows, lines, etc. to help you label the names of each student.
The following MUST be included:
1. ALL boxes should be shaded (you may use color, gradient, hatching, or bitmap). Really experiment with using shading other than just colors. There are so many other options available!
2. ALL boxes must include a shadow. You MUST CHANGE the shadow color for at least 5 of the seats.
3. At least 3 objects must use 3D. Of these, you must change the 3D color for at least ONE.
4. Do not just use rectangles and squares for your seats. Be creative. You can use circles, basic shapes, triangles, etc. to make your seats.
5. You must use line styles to outline your objects.
6. You must also include objects to represent the two teacher desks and the door.
7. Your margins must be .5 on ALL SIDES
8. Be sure to include a text box with your heading (Name, Date, Block, and Seating chart as the title). In addition, be sure to label the top of your document with "Room Layout - 247"
9. Create a border around your entire document.
10. Every students name must be spelled correctly. (You only need the first name)
This project will demonstrate your ability to be extremely creative when using basic shapes and objects. Think outside the box. Do something different!
When finished print your project to the color printer 4600/4700. Save to your Drawing folder as Seating Chart. This project is worth 30 points. You will lose 3 points for each requirement not met.
