You will be designing a flyer for the company that you created last class. You may either create a flyer about a company sponsored event or create a flyer advertising your company. If you choose to do a flyer for a company sponsored event, you must include the Five W's. (Who, What, Where, When, and Why)**
For this activity you may use a template, but it must be changed to match the mood of your company.
I have provided examples of both types of flyers for you to gain ideas.
The design of the flyer is completely up to you, however, I MUST see the following elements on your flyer for you to receive full credit.
1. Company designed logo
2. Company slogan3. Type of service/product your company provides
4. Company phone number
5. Company web address
6. Page border
7. 1 or 2 graphics/images (this does not include your logo)
8. Name of owner/president
9. Use of at least 2 different colors
10. Spelling/Grammar accuracy
Each part is worth 3 points for a total of 30 points.
Be sure to save it as “Company Flyer” in your Desktop Publishing folder.
Full Page Invitation - Due November 18th
In addition to the flyer, you will be responsible for designing a Grand Opening invitation for your business. I have provided examples on the share folder for you to gain inspiration!
Invitation MUST include the following:
- Portrait or Landscape
- Letter-Portrait (8.5 x 11) or Letter-Lanscape (11 x 8.5)
- Page Border
- Grand Opening text
- Name of company
- Logo of company
- Date
- Time
- Location
- Special attire
- RSVP with name of person to contact, phone number or e-mail address
When finished, save in your Desktop Publishing folder as "Company Invitation"
